Lone Tree Golf Club & Hotel is proud to offer private, semi-private, and group lessons for players of all abilities and needs to improve their golf game. All our instructors are PGA of America members or apprentices, LPGA of America members, or have had more than five years personal experience in providing golf lessons.

Our professionals emphasis is on providing an enjoyable learning experience designed to fit the student’s learning style. We provide lessons for beginning players to the most experienced players.

Jason Petree, Head Golf Professional

With a lifetime of experience in competitive golf and 28 years of experience teaching men, women and juniors, Jason has had the opportunity to teach golfers of all levels. Jason competed at the high school, collegiate and professional level. Whether you are just getting started in golf, or you aspire to play competitively, Jason can build a custom program to best suit your needs and goals. Sue Ritz, Assistant Golf Professional, Associate of the PGA

Sue’s teaching philosophy centers on the idea that small adjustments can lead to big improvements. She emphasizes mastering the fundamentals of the golf swing, building consistent practice habits, and developing a strong mental approach to the game. With over 500 individual lessons under her belt, Sue brings both experience and passion to helping players reach their goals and enjoy golf even more. In addition to offering private and group instruction, Sue has served as the lead coach of the PGA Junior League program at Lone Tree Golf Club since fall 2022. Jaylee Tait, Assistant Golf Professional

With competitive playing experience at the collegiate and professional levels, Jaylee has the experience to teach golfers at every level and in every aspect of the game. She personalizes her teaching approach and practice plans to fit each individual golfer. Jaylee founded the PGA JR. League at Lone Tree in 2021 and is passionate about introducing juniors to the game and exposing them to the lifelong lessons that the game of golf teaches us.
