Golf Lessons at Lone Tree Golf Club

Lone Tree Golf Club & Hotel is proud to offer private, semi-private, and group lessons for players of all abilities and needs to improve their golf game. All our instructors are PGA of America members or apprentices, LPGA of America members, or have had more than five years personal experience in providing golf lessons.

Our professionals emphasis is on providing an enjoyable learning experience designed to fit the student’s learning style. We provide lessons for beginning players to the most experienced players.

Bill Ramsey, PGA Class ‘A’ Head Professional/Director of Golf

Bill has been the Director of Golf at South Suburban for 29 years.During this time he has taught thousands of lessons to players of all abilities. He believes the golf swing should be simple and fit to each individual’s learning style. He puts emphasis on the value of the short game and enjoys improving a player’s score through improved short game skills. He has taught high school and college players for the past eight years.

Ed Leuppe, PGA 1st Assistant Golf Professional

Ed has been a Class ‘A’ member of the PGA of America for 22 years and has 28 years of experience teaching adults and juniors in an individual or group setting. His instruction experiences range from the beginning player to the most advanced. He works on golf mechanics and course management skills.

Scott Durett, Assistant Golf Professional

Scott has 28 years of teaching experience with individuals and groups. He works with all levels of players from the beginning to the advanced students. He has extensive experience teaching the junior player.

Dominic Principato, PGA Class ‘A’ Assistant Golf Professional

Dominic has been a Class ‘A’ PGA of America assistant since 2014 and has 12 years of teaching experience. His students range from beginning juniors to the most advanced adults. He teaches in both individual and group settings.

Andrew Tucker, PGA Class A Assistant Golf Professional

Andrew Tucker has been a golf professional for 30 years and a PGA Class A Member since 1991, achieving "Certified in Instruction" status in 2010, an elite classification obtained by fewer than 5% of PGA professionals. Andrew helps students lower their scores by understanding the concepts of ball flight control, the profound impact of the short-game and course management skills. Andrew helps students practice efficiently for maximum results when they play and utilizes industry-standard V1 video to enhance the learning process. Andrew has conducted over 8000 private golf lessons to women, men, juniors and disabled players of all ages and skill levels.
